A business deck should make clear within two minutes what you propose, why it matters and what you are asking for. A structure that works in most meetings:
- Cover with title, company and date.
- Summary on one slide: the conclusion first.
- Context: the problem or opportunity, backed by one hard number.
- Proposal: what, how and with which resources.
- Numbers: costs, expected revenue or KPIs in a simple chart.
- Next steps with owners and dates.
- Close with contact details or questions.
Design tips for work meetings
- One idea per slide, with a headline that states it ("Sales grew 18% in Q2", not "Sales").
- Keep the logo on the cover and closing slide only.
- Swap the theme colors for your brand colors in Design > Variants > Colors and every slide updates.
- If the file will be sent rather than presented, add a little more text: nobody will be there to explain it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Add your logo, change the colors to your brand and present to clients without paying or giving credit.
How many slides should a business presentation have?
For a 15 to 20 minute meeting, 10 to 15 slides. Put everything else in an appendix.
Do they work in Google Slides?
Yes. Upload the .pptx to Google Drive and open it with Google Slides; layouts and charts are kept.
